1.
U.
U decide that morning
to turn away from a grouping’s blind bard.
To turn if off.
Stevie Wonder.
All because of a woman.
Not because she's a woman.
But because u'd had enough of a song.
A lonely one.
That can't explain the prison u sleep with.
That can’t explain the prison u sleep in.
That doesn't offer u a problem’s undoing.
As escaping would.
As an escape does.
Perhaps a reason for all of these lost fathers.
Perhaps.
A sun.
This morning u decided that morning was light
That life is night
That to live as because of an other is to live in plight
And that there’s a ticket home.
A train.
To ride over a bridge.
Until u stop.
2.
Last night
U met a woman over a
Song
Who has learned to hum with
Her arms
Long before she met ur fun.
This one.
Who hid her lips.
Who hid her tongue.
U had her heart in mind.
When u said goodbye.
Once u said goodbye.
The minute
A moment
U said good bye.
Last night u said good bye with a
right
palm over
a
poem.
3.
That she turned as I spoke
Her head to some film
Unknown
To me
Could only mean
that
The flag I bore I was lost somewhere at
Sea
That i shouldn't believe the things that I believe
That there comes a time in a
Song's life
That begs a man to
Smile.
And leave.
4.
It must have been a woman who invented doors
That place with hinges made of
White
lace
At times
That smell that one has left
A smell that one has left
That sudden flight
And that I'll spend the night
Far
From here.
5.
Home
A stone to
Palm
And
feel
Write
A
song
Changes
With time.
Home
Is a
Plain at the
end of
A
Walk.
6.
Home
Hurts
Its
Bird in
The
historical
Name of embellishing
being
With a
Sound.
Tire.
Feeling worn.
And so
One sits morose about rather than
Leaving
Home
And
That's
7.
Me.
At times.
Like
Now.
